We believe that a people-centered approach forms the foundation of sustainable success.
At Kyass Tekstil, we prioritize creating a fair, safe, and inclusive working environment for all our employees, guided by the principles of equality, respect, and well-being.
We implement our practices based on human rights, social equality, and employee engagement in alignment with national legislation and international standards, and actively contribute to global initiatives—particularly the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
By strengthening social compliance throughout our operations and supply chain, we aim to build the future together through a responsible business approach that places people at its core.
Wages and Benefits
Our wage and benefits practices are implemented in line with the Turkish Labor Law, applicable labor legislation, and the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Decent Work principles, with the aim of supporting the quality of life of our employees.
At KYASS Tekstil, performance-based bonuses for production employees, as well as in-kind support and social support packages, are provided. These practices not only offer financial support but also form part of our approach to creating a more positive, supportive, and inclusive working environment for our employees.
Empowered Processes Through Employee
At KYASS Tekstil, employee feedback is systematically collected, recorded, and followed by appropriate actions. Employee Satisfaction Surveys and Fair Wage Surveys have been completed, and the findings are actively used to support continuous improvement processes.
Corrective and preventive actions are implemented in response to notifications submitted through the Grievance Mechanism, while the Ethics Line enables employees to share their concerns and feedback in a secure and confidential manner. These practices aim to strengthen employee engagement and foster a more inclusive and sustainable working environment.
A Safe and Healthy Working Environment
We place occupational health and safety at the core of all our operations. In the dyeing process, chemicals are managed through an automatic dosing system, reducing employee exposure and ensuring full alignment with the ISO 45001 standard.
In line with this approach, we work towards a zero-accident target and conduct regular risk assessments and workplace measurements to keep our lost-time injury rate below 1%. Based on the results, preventive and corrective actions are systematically implemented.
Employee Training and Development: Shaping the Future Together
At KYASS Tekstil, internal promotion processes are implemented and continuously improved to enhance employees’ competencies and support their career development. Training programs for employees requiring further professional development have been in place since 2024.
In addition, regular training sessions are provided on topics such as business ethics, prevention of discrimination, harassment and mobbing awareness, anti-corruption, and the prevention of child labor. Employees also receive informational training on the Turkish Labor Law No. 4857, working hours, leave entitlements, compensation, and disciplinary procedures. Specific training is delivered to relevant personnel regarding the legal rights of pregnant and breastfeeding employees.
Diversity and Inclusion
At KYASS Tekstil, providing a fair, equal, and supportive working environment for all employees is among our core priorities. Discriminatory personal questions have been removed from recruitment processes. All rights stipulated under Turkish Labor Law No. 4857 are applied equally to pregnant and breastfeeding employees, persons with disabilities, foreign nationals, and retirees.
The signing process for the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) has been completed. As of 2025, women represent 60% of our workforce and 47% of managerial positions. We continue to implement initiatives aimed at increasing female representation and strengthening the employment of vulnerable groups.
